Recently, our Cosmetology instructors received the following message of appreciation...

Ma’am
Good evening. I wanted to take a moment and tell you about my experience at your stylist location. I had made an appointment this last Tuesday with (student name). I will not say that I wasn’t a little nervous about getting my haircut by someone in high school. But, we all have to start somewhere and we are all new at something. So, I was highly impressed by (student name), yourself, and the rest of the students. They seemed to be enjoying themselves and excited to learn their various skills.
(Student name) did a great job on my hair and I believe I have received more compliments on my hair cut (student name) did from not just family but friends and colleagues.
So please keep up the great work!

We had Color Wars this week! Spent the day doing group presentations on different types of hair color and played a couple rounds of Twister our own way!

This week and last, our incoming Cosmetology students have been hard at work. They are learning new things and getting to know each other!

So grateful to one of our great supporters and friends, SUPERCUTS, for treating us to Edible Arrangenents today!! Thank you Bob, Jennie and Supercuts family!!!

Our Cosmetology students completed an "Anything But Hair Project"
They first heard about this project from the Cosmetology Programs for Vincennes University.
They decided to try it this year to stir up the creativity of our students. The goal of this project was to create a look on a bald mannequin using anything but hair.
The instructions for this project were as follows:
1. First choose an overall theme for your project
2. Create a look that represents your theme using- ANYTHING BUT HAIR!!
3. Your project will be graded based on creativity of the theme and the amount of details used, and overall neatness of the final look.

Recently, we caught our Cosmetology students playing around. Well, they were PLAY-ing as part of a FISH activity.
