Gratz Opus 118, the music store and studio, will be closed Wednesday, February 2nd, in anticipation of the snowstorm forecast. We may also be closed on Thursday, February 3rd. We will update everyone. Be safe!

Gratz is pleased to welcome Roberto Marin to our Gratz family as a teacher! Originally from Colombia, Mr. Marin specializes in baby bass (as pictured) and bass guitar. He is an expert in tropical rhythms including Latin jazz, salsa, merengue, cambia, Bossa Nova, and bolero. Mr. Marin is the founder of the band, Carpacho and His Super Combo, the band has been around since 1986 has an impressive list of performances in the Chicagoland area. Gratz welcomes Kayli Perrine to our teaching family. Kayli is a 2019 graduate of Valparaiso University with a degree in Music performance (voice), and in 2020 she earned her Masters degree in Art and Entertainment Administration from VU. She comes to us with experience in teaching voice, classical and jazz piano.

This coming Thursday, April 1, Gratz will be reopened for socially distanced lessons and sheet music sales! The store will be open Monday-Wednesday, 10a-4p, Thursdays, 10a-6p (beginning April 8th). Masks will be required. Can't wait to see everyone again!
