IMPORTANT* Parent-student meeting for Summer SAE will be held Tuesday May, 26th from 6:30-7:00PM in the MT ag building. Members who signed up should have received an email yesterday.

This week!
Monday: Summer SAE sign-up form released. Must have 15 students committed to run the Summer SAE. SUMMER SAE SIGN-UP IS POSTED ON GOOGLE CLASSROOM!
Tuesday: NA
Wednesday: There will be NO officer meeting Wednesday morning. Officer interviews for next school year will be 3:00-4:30PM at the MT ag builidng. Those who have applied should have gotten an email with the specifics.
Thursday: SAE sign-up DUE by 3:00PM.
Friday: Final Chapter meeting during SRT! Officer transitions will take place as well as awards.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the Horticulture program! Great job to this class for putting on a great plant sale!

In addition to plants we are selling compost and fishing/ garden worms! Jaydon has been growing and researching the worms and how they improve soil this semester! They would be a great addition to your garden, raised bed, or fishing weekend!

Porter County 4-H would like to congratulate Cash Terpstra for being the recipient of our 2026 Alumni Memorial Scholarship. The Alumni Memorial Scholarship is given in memory of all former Porter County 4-H members who have passed away.

Scholarship certificate and check will be given to recipients during the Battle of the Barns Intermission on August 1st.

We are excited to see all the great things you will achieve Cash! Congratulations!

Porter County 4-H would like to congratulate Ellie Higgins for being one of the recipients of our 2026 John Keller Memorial Scholarship. The John Keller Memorial Scholarship is given in memory of former 4-H Youth Extension Agent in Porter County. He served from 1975 until his passing in 1984. John loved working with young people and was very dedicated to his family along with the youth in Porter County Money from the 4-H Foods Auction is used to support this scholarship in his memory.

The 2026 Horticulture Plant Sale is this Saturday from 9:00AM - 3:00PM. Cash only! The sale will take place in the Morgan Township Greenhouse and Agriculture Building Shop. Parking is available in the gravel lot behind the agriculture building and in the main parking lot.

The Horticulture Vocational students at Morgan Township have spent the year learning about Horticulture and have grown a variety of plants to sell! Funds from the sale go towards future years activities and improvements!

Banquet looked a little different this year! We took time to reflect and planned for the year to come!
