Valliant Cross Country at Battiest Meet on August 29, 2026

This morning, city officials spotted a bear on the Valliant Public Schools softball field. The bear moved north, away from the school campus.
We want to reassure everyone that no children were near the softball facilities at the time of the sighting. We greatly appreciate the quick response and assistance from the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife, local law enforcement, and our city officials as they worked to address the situation.
Our school administration will continue to closely monitor the campus and work with local officials as needed. We wanted to make our community aware of the sighting, particularly since many of our citizens enjoy walking around the school campus after hours.
As always, we encourage everyone to remain aware of their surroundings and use caution when visiting the campus.

Valliant FFA officers attended the Southeast Area C**T Conference and received a PSO grant to purchase a tractor-mounted tiller. The tiller will be used to help establish and maintain community gardens, giving Valliant FFA another opportunity to serve and support our community! 🌱💙💛

Valliant FFA top 6 officer team attended the South East Area C**T Conference! Where they worked together to grow as leaders, strengthen their teamwork, and become a better officer team. We look forward to using what we learned to help our chapter grow and succeed.
