The Shaw Avenue PTA extends our heartfelt congratulations to each and every one of our incredible 6th grade graduates. We are so proud of all you’ve accomplished during your time at Shaw — your hard work, kindness, creativity, and resilience have truly made a mark on our school community.

As you move forward to middle school and beyond, we hope you carry with you the friendships, memories, and lessons that have shaped you here. Always remember: you are capable, you are strong, and you are ready for this next chapter.

☀️ Help Us Spread Some Sunshine! ☀️

The Helping Hands Club at Shaw Avenue is hosting a Fun in the Sun Drive to support local families in need this summer! 💛

We’re collecting items like:
🫧 Bubbles
🖍️ Sidewalk chalk
🧴 Sunscreen
🕶️ Sunglasses
…and other fun summer essentials!

All donations will go toward creating Summer Baskets for families who could use a little extra sunshine this season. 🌈

The Membership Team is proud to announce that the Shaw Ave PTA unit is being awarded the New York State PTA Students Rock Membership Award for March 2025!

Your PTA unit earned this award for being a PTA in good standing and because you entered and paid for Student members representing at least 20% of your total membership by March 31.

Your PTA has the drive to succeed. Be proud of the work that you do. When your school and community embrace and support your PTA by joining, it is a testimonial to all your efforts.

Sell your gently used clothing, toys, household items, and crafts!
Families must bring their own tables and chairs.

Park and Setup at 10:00AM - Parking lot gate will close by 10:45AM to vehicle traffic.
