Hours are by appointment only. Horses are social animals. Horses are masters of nonverbal communication.

Equine Assisted Personal Growth (EAPG) uses horses as active participants to help facilitate the learning experience. Horses are prey animals who automatically recognize us (humans) as the predators we are. It is in their genetic makeup and it is their survival tool to pick up our intentions from very far away. In fact, a horse’s life depends on that ability: to read us quickly to see if we look,

smell, and act like the predator we may be. By examining equine behavior, and how the horses may or may not react to us, we can better understand what may be more effective in our own human relationships. The equine-assisted model helps individuals learn about themselves and others by participating in activities with horses and then processing thoughts, feelings, behaviors and patterns.

General information

Horses are intuitive beings who can show us in an instant when we are fooling ourselves and when we are on the right track. As herd animals who are tuned in to the slightest inconsistency in their environment, can often times “mirror” back to us inconsistent behaviors we may not have been aware of–behaviors that stop us from moving forward in life or from moving deeper into our own authentic spirit.
