Even though no one packed me away in their Daytona suitcase, I’ve got an incredible report from our VSMS Archery Team!

Our archers finished 5th place in the nation among middle schools and were one of only two Arkansas teams to place in the Top 10!
All of the hard work, dedication, and practice they put in over the last several weeks paid off in a big way. Thank you for everyone who supported them on their trip. We are beyond proud of this team and their accomplishments!

Middle School Reality:
Middle school = missing pencils, endless snacks and second breakfast, unfinished homework, dramatic friendships, and lots of growing/glowing up. 😅

It’s hard to explain how much joy, pride, and hope students bring into a school each year. Watching students grow into themselves is the best part of this job. 🌻

As summer begins, remember:
• Be kind to yourself
• Put down the phone (sometimes)
• Spend time outside
• Rest your mind
• Stay true to who you are
