We’re kicking off Circus/Carnival Week at THPDO tomorrow!

Have your kiddos join the fun by wearing bright colors, stripes, silly socks, mix matched or anything fun and circus-inspired!

This week we’ll be learning:

🍎🌋 APPLE VOLCANOES!

Okayyyy… their reactions might just be the BEST part. 😂😍

Wednesday out threes class got to make apple volcanoes using apples, baking soda, food coloring, and vinegar—and they thought it was the coolest thing EVER!

But here’s what I love about activities like this… they’re having so much fun they don’t even realize how much they’re learning.

At Top Hand Parents Day Out, our kiddos aren’t sitting in front of a TV all day. They’re PLAYING. They’re creating. They’re getting messy. They’re asking questions. They’re using those little hands and exploring the world around them. They're HAVING FUN!

Hands-on activities help build fine motor skills, encourage curiosity and problem solving, introduce early science concepts, build language skills, and give kids the chance to actually EXPERIENCE what they’re learning.

Sometimes learning looks like worksheets and practicing our letters and numbers…
And sometimes learning looks like a bunch of preschoolers exploring science with an apple exploding with bubbles. 😂🍎🌋

And we LOVE both!

At THPDO, we want our kiddos learning, playing, exploring, and making memories while they’re here.

Because little hands are doing BIG learning at THPDO!

We’re officially kicking off our letters & numbers at THPDO!

This week we learned all about Letter A and Number 1 And of course… if A is for APPLE, we had to make our very own applesauce!

We love getting those little hands involved and turning learning into something they can see, touch, smell, and taste

Our Bible verse this week was Ephesians 6:1:
“Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.”

So we’re not just learning our ABCs and 123s around here. we’re planting those little seeds of faith too.

These are the little moments that make THPDO so special. Learning, playing, making memories, and most importantly, sharing the gospel with pur babies!

Considering Part-Time Childcare This Fall?
We would love for you to consider Top Hand Parents Day Out!

We aren't just a place for your little one to spend a few hours... we are a ministry created to support families by providing dependable, part-time childcare in a loving, Christ-centered environment.

We are Faith-Based — We want little hearts to know and experience the love of Jesus while they learn, play, and grow.

We offer smaller class sizes — We intentionally keep our classrooms at about HALF of the maximum child-to-teacher ratio allowed by the State of Texas. Fewer children means more individual attention, stronger relationships, and a calmer environment for our kiddos.

As well as Dependable Part-Time Care — Work, appointments, errands, catching up around the house—or simply a few hours to yourself. Whatever your reason, we're here to be a ministry that families can depend on.

We only have 2–3 spaces remaining per classroom before we reach our MAX capacity! 🤯
