The Martin Middle Robotics class ended the day with these beautiful mums grown and donated by Wright’s Nursery in Plantersville. The students toured the nursery and were involved in demonstrations where automation was used in the planting of seeds, transferring of seedlings, and soil composition.

The Martin Middle Robotics class at Martin Middle School started the year off quickly with introduction lessons in our industry-related We Build It Better program. The students first learned about safety in the workplace and dealing with FOD( Foreign Object Debris) by playing a FOD board game. The students then started activities for team building by discovering the various characteristics of team members. Our students are presently working to gain sponsors from local business to help create successful partners to assist our group with needed resources. As always, we thank all our partners. It looks like another great year is in store for us.

The Martin Middle Robotics class participated in a team building activity where as a group they had to write words using a marker attached to strings. The fun activity allowed the students to learn to work together to write team-related words.

The Martin Middle Robotics Class is off to a great start for the year. The students have been learning about the importance of safety in the work place and about dealing with FOD (foreign object debris) in industry. The students are excitedly playing an FOD awareness game to learn more about its impact in industry. The students are also out interacting with businesses as we gain sponsors to help alleviate costs for our robotics class. So you may see students stopping by to talk to you about sponsorships. As always, we thank our local community for all of your support.
