Connection with children is so important in early childhood settings!

Please please advocate “NO” for children and child providers in KS. They’re trying to change how childcare is regulated and many rules that will make it nearly impossible for providers to operate!

The Kansas House will soon vote on a bill that would ignore voices in the child care community by placing dangerous ratio standards into law and out of the hands of the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE). Kritter Creek Childcare LLC is proud to connect Jefferson County North High School students to our program. We offer numerous opportunities for community service, part time employment and support in their Senior Project for graduation. High school students learn about the importance of early childhood education, learn about the operation of a small business model and develop many life skills in the workplace such as responsibility, independence, accountability, teamwork and perseverance.

We are getting ready to graduate another Senior, Hannah Cahill who has spent the last 2 years working after school, summers and on no school days. Hannah was also enrolled in care during our early years in business. She plans to attend the University of Kansas, in the fall, to pursue a degree in Applied Behavior Sciences with an emphasis on children.

Please join us in supporting Hannah in her last project, as a senior. She’s put together an impactful project that will benefit the families at Kritter Creek. We are so proud of her and can’t wait to see what her future holds.

The future of our world depends on the investment in our youth of all ages. It is my dream one day, that one child impacted by our program will keep their own Early Childhood program alive for the next generation. ❤️

We will always hold space for mom's here at Elevate. Coach Rachel, the owner, is a mom herself and knows the mental struggle it can be for mom's to find the time to take care of themselves as they are the one's taking care of everyone else.

"I remember when I began my health journey, many people that I thought were friends talked bad about me for doing what I was doing. I was being a bad mom, neglecting my babies and being selfish, just to name a few. It hurt really bad and I almost gave up, but what I found was that it was just an hour. An hour in a 24 hr period that I was ALLOWED to be selfish. Putting time and effort into my own health and well being actually made me a better mom. I was happier, calmer, and more energized to be able to handle everyone else. It took time but I knew this was the right decision." -Coach Rachel
