We’re excited to introduce Lobo, our Sheyenne Supportive Strides Emotional Support Dog in training! 🐶

Lobo is beginning his journey to provide comfort, encouragement, and emotional support to the students and staff we serve. While he’s still learning the ropes (and probably collecting a few belly rubs along the way! 🦴😁), we can’t wait to watch him grow into this important role.

"One meaningful experience at a time"

Today, Kashin took part in a meaningful life skills project through our Separate Classroom, Sheyenne Supportive Strides, helping plant flowers in memory of Kaley Machart.

This special project gave Kashin a hands-on opportunity to learn beyond the classroom. Through planting flowers, he practiced functional academic skills, responsibility, following directions, caring for the environment, and taking pride in contributing to the school community.

With support from Laura Klevgaard, Learning Coach, Kashin continues to build real-life skills that promote independence, confidence, and growth.

With increased social and emotional supports, this setting helps students access their education in a way that meets their individual needs while building meaningful academic, functional, and life skills.
