57 students of The Learning Center earned their high school diploma this year. 19 adults and 38 high school seniors.

Did you know that USD 262 has a program designed to offer current students, or returning adult students, an online education platform for those who wish to work toward completing the requirements for graduation virtually? There are currently 75 sixth- through 12th-grade students enrolled in online learning.

Jeff Tracy is the coordinator for the program and also a teacher. He was recently awarded the 2024 Individual Unsung Super Star Award from the Digital Learning Collaborative, a membership group dedicated to exploring, producing, and disseminating data, information, news, and best practices in digital learning.

Mr. Tracy has been recognized for providing the extra care and guidance needed to map out each student’s path to success. Under his guidance, the Learning Center’s graduation rate has doubled. He received his award at the 6th Annual Digital Learning Annual Conference in Austin, TX, on Wednesday, February 27, 2024.
