🐝Arrival Plan for Students🐝

Parent Drop-Off Begins at 8:00 AM

To help make morning arrival safe and efficient for everyone, please follow the procedures below.

🚗Parent Drop-Off🚗
Parents should arrive beginning at 8:00 AM.

The Tanner Trail entrance from Seneca, located on the southeast side of the building, is the only entrance and exit for parent drop-off.

Parents will follow the one-way traffic pattern through the drop-off lane on the south side of the building.

Please pull forward as far as possible before allowing your student to exit the vehicle. This will help keep traffic moving efficiently.
Parents should remain in their vehicles during drop-off.

Students should be prepared to exit the vehicle independently. If your student needs additional assistance getting out of the vehicle, please let a staff member know and we will be happy to assist.

Please do not park or leave your vehicle in the drop-off lane.

Staff will be outside to assist students as they enter the building.
Students should enter the building independently through the main doors.

Once students enter the building students will be directed by staff to the cafeteria, where they will remain until 8:20 AM.
Students who are eating breakfast will go to the breakfast line.
Students who are not eating breakfast will sit at the table designated for their class.

Students will be supervised by staff while they are in the cafeteria.
At 8:20 AM, students will leave the cafeteria with their teacher and go to their classrooms.

🚗Parent Exit🚗
After dropping off your student, parents will exit the parking lot and turn south to follow the drive back to Seneca.

Please leave the 85th Street entrance and exit open for bus traffic. The 85th Street entrance is designated for buses and should not be used for parent drop-off or pick-up.

Tomorrow is the day, Hornet Family!

Join us as we celebrate the grand openings and ribbon cuttings for Valley Park Elementary School and the Supplemental Learning Center! These incredible new facilities were made possible through the support of our community, which approved the USD 262 bond initiative on May 7, 2024.
