When your 2nd graders have music class and they automatically start singing "Our God is Here"....you know your Catholic identity is flowing.

There is something so beautiful about hearing our children sing their faith--not because they were instructed to, but because it has become part of who they are.

This is what Catholic education looks like when faith is woven into everyday moments of school.

Our younger students are reminding us that sometimes the most beautiful prayers are the ones that simply come from the heart. 💗🎶

Making music at SBS 🎶

Our Kindergarten and 1st grade students are having so much fun discovering the joy of music with Mr. Moraila! 🎹🥁

From learning how to use different instruments to exploring rhythm, beat, and sound, our youngest students are already making some beautiful music! We love seeing their excitement, confidence, and curiosity grow with each class.

A big shout-out to Mr. Moraila for creating such a fun, engaging, and hands-on music experience for students. He is doing a wonderful job building a love of music from the beginning! 🎶

A Beautiful Morning at St. Basil💙☀️

There is something special about starting our day together! This beautiful morning, our students gathered for Morning Assembly with our pastor, beginning the day with prayer.

We are grateful for the example of our students as they learn to live out the virtues--not just by saying the words, but by putting them into action each day.

A special thank-you to our amazing Morning Traffic Crew for helping our families arrive safely and starting the day with good energy and welcoming faces.

Our 8th graders had a truly special day at the Cathedral with Bishop Soto, gathering together for Mass and sharing a beautiful experience of faith.

After Mass, our students continued with a fun lunch at Raising Cane's-enjoying time together, laughing and making memories as they celebrate their final year at St. Basil.

A big thank you to our amazing parents who volunteered to chaperone! Your time, support, and willingness to spend the day with our students is so appreciated. We are grateful for the part you played in making this special day possible!

Faith, friendship, fellowship, and memories to last a lifetime!

Remembering, Praying, Choosing Peace.🕊️

Today, our students gathered outside in prayer and song as we remember September 11 and the lives forever changed that day.

Their voices rose together as they sang "Make Me a Channel of Your Peace," a beautiful reminder that even in difficult times, we can choose to be kind, compassionate and forgiving.

May we never forget.
May we continue to pray.
And may we teach our children that peace begins with each of us.🤍
