https://mspkvallejo.org/ Nestled among the tall trees and leafy shrubs of Curtola Avenue and encircled by a vast ballfield, Mustard Seed Preschool finds a safe sanctuary at the corner of Wilson Park in Vallejo---a hop, skip, and jump away from the Curtola Park & Ride. Amidst nearby #780 and #80 freeways, Mustard Seed Preschool exists peacefully in a quiet haven of a tree-lined public park. The Faith Bible Church facility that houses the Mustard Seed Preschool is 11 years old, and when built, the preschool was built to the specifications of a well-designed child's indoor environment (based on recommendations by child environment specialist, Louis Torelli). A mini-grant from First Five of Solano County helped purchase the current developmentally-appropriate preschool furniture. Another generous capital grant from First Five of Solano County completes and equips the outdoor child's environment to include everything a young child needs for exploratory play and discovery. Besides its indoor and outdoor amenities, Mustard Seed Preschool gladly offers the following accomodations to families enrolled in the school:

* Low teacher-child ratios

* Qualified child development credentialed teachers/caregivers with current child development research training

* A safe, well-designed and child-friendly physical learning environment

* A play-based curriculum with hands-on activities, enrichment projects, and exploratory trips

* A child's interests and needs included in lesson planning / individualization of care

* A focus on Biblical principles and current child development research in in planning curriculum

* A family friendly atmosphere & welcoming environment

Proceeds from our silent auction will be used for the repair and renovation of our 10-year-old outdoor play yard.

The hottest item for bid was the beautiful framed childrenā€™s mural.
