Check out our honorable mention on the TUC page!

American College of Clinical Pharmacy - - brought therapy dogs to campus last Wednesday at its PAWS for Studying event to give TUC students a chance to de-stress between class and studying. What started last year as a fundraising idea that gives back to Touro’s student population, PharmD students Sarah Lewis and Mindy Chen came up with the idea after visiting a cat café in Seattle.

“Many students come to campus to sit through eight hours of lecture, then return home to study for six to eight additional hours,” said Sarah Lewis, ACCP Chapter President. “So, being able to help both students who may have left their beloved pets behind, and those who just need some release from hectic exam and study schedules, has made the work of the 2018-2019 ACCP board worth it. Being able to facilitate an environment where students from all colleges can come together to have fun and learn together has been a great honor!”
