Hello families, VCS PTO has started the first fundraiser of the year. We have $10 bogo Jamba Juice cards and $10 7 Flags Car Wash Gift Certificates. All money and orders are due December 10th and delivered to the child's classroom by December 17th. Both are only $10 each and we make 50% on each one... HUGE money maker for the school. They make great stockings stuffers and gifts to!!

Next week is Spirit Week. Let you kids have some fun and show their school spirit by participating in our daily themes.
Also, we are hosting a pumpkin decorating contest. Kids can carve, paint, decorate with objects a pumpkin. All entries are due Wednesday, October 28th by 8pm.
To enter, 2 pictures must be sent to [email protected], 1 up close picture of your pumpkin and 1 picture of your child holding the pumpkin, include your childs name, grade and teacher.
1 winner from each grade group will be chosen: K-2nd, 3rd - 5th, 6th -8th. Winners will be announced and contacted Thursday night 8pm via email to pick up prize at school Friday.
Please remind your kids to have fun with these daily themes and contest. We miss seeing everyone so post pictures.

Hello families,
Tomorrow is our first day of school - distance learning. 👩💻👨💻 We know all our kids are so excited to log on tomorrow and see who's in class with them and meet their new teachers. We also know it will be somewhat of a sad day for us parents to not be able to take those 1st day of school pictures standing in front of the school with friends and their new teacher. VCS PTO will still continue to host spirit weeks, lunch on the lawns and any other activities we can find that can be done virtually for our kids to have fun and win prizes. Please continue to take pictures of your child at home doing their virtual learning, classwork, homework, desk set up, PE, etc. and send them in to [email protected], we will collect pictures for the yearbook, in hope that we can return to school later in the year and complete one. Also, please remember to be patient with our staff as they continue to figure out the best way to make all our kids succeed this year with distance learning.
