Our Saints are exploring, creating, and making discoveries through hands-on STEM activities. Experiential lessons like these help students connect classroom concepts to the world around them while building curiosity, creativity, problem-solving skills, and a lasting love of learning.

What a blessing it was to celebrate Sunday’s Parish and School Mass and Kermes with our St. Vincent Ferrer community! 💚

We were so proud to share the beautiful talent of our student choir and witness the poise, character, and faith of our student leaders as they stepped forward to serve in ministry. It was also wonderful to welcome families beneath our new SVFS pop-up tent!

The delicious food, joyful music, wonderful families, and community spirit reminded us once again why it’s so good to be a Saint! Thank you to our parish and everyone who made this special celebration possible. 🙏

Have you ever been curious about Catholic education or the community at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic School? Come meet some of our school families and staff at our pop-up tent during the St. Vincent Ferrer Parish Kermes Festival tomorrow!

Join us for a bilingual Parish and School Mass at noon St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church , where our student Choir and leadership serve during the liturgy, followed by festival fun from 1:00–5:00 PM. Enjoy delicious food, music, cultural celebrations, and booth for all ages while learning more about our welcoming, faith-filled school community.

Our first graders brought in tools their parents use at work and discovered the amazing careers represented within our Saints community! From research, service, legal and healthcare to business, construction, robotics and beyond, our parents make a meaningful impact every day.

This hands-on lesson inspired our young to dream about the future, explore how their own gifts can serve others, and imagine the meaningful lives they will one day build. The future is bright in first grade! 💚🛠️✨

Today, our gathered in prayer to kick off the . Vincent de Paul Vallejo Friends of the Poor Walk. A student from every grade shared how they serve others and help be a friend to those in need in our community. Together, we are walking to support our neighbors—helping with rent, utilities, food, and holiday gifts while sharing Christ’s love through our virtue of service.

We also surrounded a dear friend of SVFS, Mary—our beloved “Balloon Lady”—with love and prayers for her health and well-being. Mary, an alumni Saints parent, reminded our students what a blessing it is to be a Saint and part of this special community. We loved having her grown children and fellow Saints alumni join us, too!

We ended our celebration of service and community with a walk around the block and a well-earned ice cream treat. We love you, Mary, and are keeping you close in prayer. It’s good to be a Saint! 💚🙏🍦

This looks like a winning team! 🏐💚 Our new fifth-grade volleyball team celebrated its first victory, and we know these girls will continue to play with character and confidence for years to come.

Athletics are a special part of the Catholic school experience, teaching teamwork, perseverance, leadership, and sportsmanship. Saints athletes practice their virtues on and off the court as they work hard, show their school spirit, and celebrate success together.

🃏➗ Games like this strengthen math-fact recall in an engaging, low-stress way. Families can practice at home through cards, dice, cooking, shopping, and other everyday activities. Strong math-fact fluency builds confidence and provides an important foundation for algebra and advanced math. Great work, Saints! 💚

This week, our school community gathered for a special 9/11 Remembrance Mass, marking 25 years since that tragic day.

Our 3rd Grade class did a beautiful job leading the liturgy as we prayed for the victims, their loved ones, and the brave men and women who rushed in to help and worked tirelessly in service to others.

We were also proud to see our newly trained altar servers answer the call to serve in this special ministry. Great job to all—our hearts are full as we pray for PEACE. 🇺🇸🙏💚

Our eighth graders joined students from across the Diocese of Sacramento for a beautiful Mass with the Bishop—a meaningful day of faith, fellowship, and celebration.

We wish our Saints a blessed eighth-grade year, inspired by our Schoolwide Learning Expectations: Service, Virtue, Faith & Scholarship.
