Kindergarten update!

The first week of school, kindergarten will dismiss at 12:30 to allow students to adjust to their classrooms & teachers.

Managing Drop-Off

Keep goodbyes short: Give a quick hug, use a special handshake or phrase, and leave promptly.

Stay calm and positive: Children feed on your emotions, so projecting a confident attitude helps them feel safe.

Do not linger: Even if your child cries, a prompt departure lets the teacher start the comforting and transition process.

What a great turn out! It was awesome to see returning faces and new faces! Happy New Year! Thank you to Community Presbyterian Church, Rebuilding Together Solano County, Eric Reyes Foundation, Project Blessing Bags, Another Chapter, and ALL the amazing volunteers who support our site. We have our lots of book bags, books, school supplies, food, and more!

Bell Schedule Changes!!

Coming into our new school year, we have some bell schedule changes you need to be aware of.

***The first week of school, 1st-5th grade get out at 1:30, please plan accordingly!***

Tk will dismiss at 12:30 ALL year.

Kindergarten will dismiss at 1:30 ALL year.

1st-3rd grade will dismiss at 2:30 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and 1:30 on Wednesdays and all minimum days.

4th-5th grade will dismiss at 3:00 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and 1:30 on Wednesdays and all minimum days.

This should help ease the end of day pick up traffic. If you have a child in a primary grade (1st-3rd grade), and a child in 4th-5th grade, we will not be signing upper grade students out earlier. Leaving early constitutes truancy. Those students have longer required instructional minutes and are engaged in learning until the end of their instructional day. There will be supervision for students who are waiting for parents to pick up an older student.

Please do not block neighborhood driveways. Please be respectful of our neighbors.

August 6th is right around the corner! From 9am-11am will be our annual Back to School supplies drive-thru. This is for Steffan Manor students only. Be prepared to give your child’s name to receive supplies. Show this flyer to the volunteers and they will help you get set!

Please enter the Community Presbyterian Church parking lot (2800 Georgia St) from Annette St and drive thru slowly!

Hello Dragons!

Here is information regarding Back-to-School!

School begins on August 17th.

Student breakfast begins at 8:00 am. School starts at 8:30. Don’t be late!

TK/K orientation will begin at their lines. Campus staff will help direct you to where students go.

SDC students will meet at their classrooms with their teachers at the start of school.

1st -5th grades will meet at their lines.

Please meet the teacher, take a quick peek of the classroom and then teachers will need to start the day!

Community Presbyterian Church will be setting up across the street with coffee and donuts following the Meet and Greet for parents to meet and connect! 2800 Georgia St.
