Today at GTA Schools, we were proud to welcome Visión y Compromiso for a resource fair created for our Spanish-speaking community.

We were also honored to be joined by Cassandra James, Solano County Supervisor for District 1, and Alma Hernandez, Mayor of Suisun City, as we came together to connect families with valuable information, support, and community resources.

Thank you to Visión y Compromiso and our local leaders for spending the day with our GTA community and helping us strengthen the connections that support our families beyond the classroom. 💙

A great first day at Griffin Academy!

We’re excited to welcome our students back for the 2026–27 school year! Classrooms were full of energy as students reconnected, met their teachers, and got started on a new year of learning.

Griffin Academy hosted its Family & Student Orientation on August 13, welcoming families for an important start-of-year session led by Dr. Arnold, Griffin Academy Director.

Families joined both English and Spanish sessions focused on school expectations, policies, campus norms, and the important role that strong family-school collaboration plays in student success.

Thank you to our Griffin families for showing up, engaging, and partnering with us as we begin a successful school year together.

Day 1 of August Professional Development is underway!

Teachers and staff from both of our campuses, MIT Academy and Griffin Academy, came together to learn, collaborate, and prepare for a strong start to the new school year.

We’re grateful for the dedication, focus, and energy our GTA team brings as we continue building meaningful learning experiences for our students and families.
