Never touched clay before? Most of our classes are multi-level and we welcome total beginners. In fact, we LOVE total beginners-- and getting them hooked on clay 😎

6 weeks of pottery bliss is coming your way!

Get ready to register for our upcoming spring/summer session on Sunday, May 3rd at 9 AM.

We will have available seats in our wheel throwing and hand building classes. Daytime, evening, and Saturday classes are available. Total beginners welcome as well as more advanced students.

Your plants deserve a nice handmade home! Join us on Mother’s Day weekend for a fun and fast-paced class where you will learn how to make a medium-sized planter for your favorite plant using clay slabs. We will decorate the surface of our planters using our vast library of texture tools, or create your own free form designs to make a truly unique pot.

All clay, tools, and glazes are provided. Each participant will create a planter that will be glazed, fired, and ready for pickup approximately 4 weeks after class.
Perfect for beginners and experienced ceramicists alike!

Congratulations to our very own Erin FitzGerald for winning the Founders Prize at Feats of Clay, a national competition, with her sculptural piece. "We Have Questions ". You may have seen this piece in person a few weeks ago at the show we hosted at our studio, Unearthed Offerings.

"We Have Questions " invokes the 14th Amendment and all people's right to due process under the law.

Erin is often at the studio, working on her latest pieces which range from sculptural work to smaller functional pieces, all decorated with her colorful signature illustrative style and humor, both dark and light. We are proud to have such a talented artist working at Vallejo Clay!

Mugapalooza! is a one-day celebration of our favorite handmade object: THE MUG! They are functional, expressive, collectible, and they make drinking coffee just a little bit more enjoyable.

Enjoy shopping for your new favorite mug at our mug sale, all made by our talented students and instructors.

Watch the magic happen during a mug making demonstration, and then get your hands on some clay and make your own in our mug-making workshop.

We will also be raffling off some beautiful mugs! Be sure to get some extra raffle tickets, all proceeds go toward supporting our financial aid fund for summer Kids Clay Camp.
