Calling All 8th Graders!! 8th graders- FFA mixer will be on Monday, Aug 24 at 6:00 PM. It will be at the Ag Pavillion at the fairgrounds. Come join for food and fun! Please also turn in your $25 FFA fees to Mrs. Tinant by Friday, August 28.

VB girls: Practice starts Monday, 8/24 with pictures on 8/25. See Mrs. Stoeger for a picture packet. T-shirt forms due 8/28-make checks payable to Outback.

Grades for students will be run Friday morning. Please make sure you are keeping up and turning in your assignments.

Friendly reminder to VES parents: Students with cell phones or smartwatches will be asked to turn them off and put them in their backpacks at the start of the day. Some devices are parent controlled and can be put in "School Mode." They are not allowed to use them during school hours. If students are on them, they will be confiscated and turned in to the office. Students are allowed to have them back at the end of the day. If the violation continues, they will be confiscated, turned in to the office and parents will be asked to pick them up. This is in accordance with our cell phone policy in the student handbook and similar to expectations at VMS.

Lady Badger golfers opened their season in O’Neill yesterday, Thursday, August 20th. Varsity players present were Joni Cox, Tierney Miller, Rylee Wackler, Kassie Hanson and Leti Alvarez. Kelsey Birch and Whittley Cumbow attended as JV players.

Tierney Miller took 2nd place with a score of 91. Valentine took 4th as a team.

Hello again! LET'S MAKE THE MOST OF EACH MEETING!!!

This year there will be new activities for matches to choose to do when they are meeting. There is a binder and tote in each of the libraries.

With the activities there are get-to-know options, challenges, games and much more. For example, each building has a Get-to-Know-You Jenga game to play. There are also Bingo sheets to pick up and keep. Once you get a Bingo take a picture or send me an email to get a free pop or candy bar of your choice!

New activities will be added periodically throughout the year so keep checking in to see what's new!

Matches start meeting in a few weeks (anytime after Labor day). I look forward to hearing about all the fun the Teammate matches are having!!
