Good morning class of 74. Don’t forget to let us know if you plan on coming to the 50 year class reunion. Deadline on on count for Friday night meals and Saturday night meals is June 9. You still have time to let Cindy know if you are planning on coming. We’ve had a really good response so far.
Just a reminder the dates are June 28 and 29th. The meals are all at 6:30 PM.

This is regarding our class of 74 classmate Rick Day.

As you all know, Rick had open heart surgery. And then he developed a respiratory issue that created challenges for the metal ties that put his sternum back together and then when he was supposed to have surgery the night before he fell and broke it apart and crack some ribs. He was scheduled for surgery towards the end of April. Allowing things to heal back up.

But Rick had to go in for emergency surgery. Things started acting up in his chest after his fall, which broke some of the metal ties in his sternum apart. So he was scheduled for possibly two surgeries one to go in and see if there was an infection, and then it would be followed up when they put the steel plate and to put everything back together. Fortunately, on Saturday morning, they were able to do all of it. Keep Rick in your prayers. We should be thankful for the prayers and the medical team taking care of him. Hallelujah, everyone have a fabulous Easter.

Oh my goodness, we sent the 50 year reunion class letters out and we forgot to put the date in the letter. Don’t laugh. 😆😆😆
The date of our class reunion is June 28 and 29th that would be Friday, June 28 and Saturday, June 29. Please pass the word to the rest of our classmates.

Family, Friends and Classmates of Rick Day and Lana’s regarding Rick ‘s surgery’s

From Lana,

Up date -
Rick fell yesterday. So they did a CT scan and found a broken rib.
This surgery will need to be rescheduled for after the rib heals.
Not sure if we will stay another night or head home yet.

Good morning class of 74. Remember our classmate. Rick is having another heart procedure done on Wednesday February 28th. He’s having a steel plate. Inserted to reconnect the sternum after some of the wires broke. Tough stuff. Keep him in your prayers. And we can’t forget about his wife Lana, who is absolutely been an amazing with all of her caregiving.

We send our sympathy to Larry Zaroban for the loss of his wife Sherri. Larry was her caregiver the entire time.
Sherri passed away at their home February 2.
