In Home Preschool Part – Time Teacher
Little Hands & Flourishing Minds – Valencia, CA
Part Time

Little Hands & Flourishing Minds is looking for a part time teacher to work with toddlers currently ranging from ages 3 years and up to facilitate their day-to-day care and education. Must have at least 2 years experience working with children. We are looking for a loving, creative, responsible, and attentive individual.

Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the supervision and safety of toddlers inside and outside
2. Implement provided weekly lesson plans
3. Engage and encourage toddlers in activities/socialization
4. Assess each child’s developmental needs on an ongoing basis
5. Follow schedules and routines to ensure children have equal play, learning & nap time
6. Document daily logs on each child’s progress, feedings, and potty movements
7. Classroom maintenance and encourage positive disciplinary techniques and redirection
8. Handling of serving meals, changing of diapers, and potty training
9. Monitor and alert owner when supplies are low, or repairs are needed
10. Maintain the cleanliness and disinfection/sanitizing of school area during and after
11. Communicate and build relationships with parents

Requirements:
1. Must have at least 2 years of experience working with toddlers
2. Knowledge of early childhood development
3. Willing to obtain CPR, Background Check, and First Aid Certification in first 60 days
4. Must be reliable, punctual, loving, attentive, and be able to multi-task.
5. Provide list of character 4 references (2 non-relatives who have known you for two years & 2 parents of children you have cared for)
6. Verification of ECE Units
7. TB Test
8. Non-smoker
9. Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation

Start Date: August 15, 2019
Salary: Inquire for details
Hours of Operation: 7am to 6pm Monday through Friday

Applicant is needed:
Training period: 8/8 (Thur.), 8/12 (Mon.), 8/16 (Fri.)
Part time: Monday through Friday, (hours may vary)
