Our Parent Action Committee (PAC) treated our staff with muffins, coffee and sparkling juice to ring in the new school year! Thank you to our PAC!
Here's to another year of learning growth and good vibes!

3rd graders in Mrs. Penland’s class participated in a STEM challenge of saving Fred! Fred the gummy worm doesn’t know how to swim and was lost at sea when his life preserver got stuck under his boat that had capsized. Students were challenged to save Fred and get him back in his life preserver only using four paper clips. Students were able to rescue Fred and practice working as a team! Way to go third graders, you sure are modeling the Pine Grove Way!

Words matter. ❤️
Mrs. Gilbert's 4th graders read Taste Your Words today and learned a powerful lesson about the impact of our words.
Students worked with a partner to squeeze every bit of toothpaste out of a tube. Then came the challenge—put it all back in. Pretty impossible, right?
Just like that toothpaste, once hurtful words are spoken, they can't truly be taken back. We can apologize, make things right, and choose kindness moving forward, but our words can leave a lasting impression.
Today our Vikings were reminded to THINK before they speak and to use words that encourage, uplift, and show kindness. 💙
