☀️ That’s a wrap on Summer 2026! ☀️

What a summer it has been for our nursing students! ❤️🖤

This semester was filled with opportunities to take learning beyond the classroom and into real-world settings. Our students participated in a variety of clinical and experiential learning opportunities, including:

🏕️ Camp experiences in North Carolina at Camp Merri-Mac and Camp Timberlake
🏥 On-site clinical experiences and field trips with VSU and SGMC
🩺 Hands-on learning on campus for our advanced nursing students, allowing them to strengthen assessment, procedural, and clinical skills
📚 And so much more!

These experiences give our students the opportunity to apply what they learn in the classroom, build confidence, serve different populations, and continue developing into skilled and compassionate nurses.

We are proud of everything our students accomplished this summer—and now the halls are getting ready to fill again because Fall 2026 is almost here! 🍂

Today we’re celebrating the official mascot of Valdosta State Nursing, who has spent 10 wonderful years bringing smiles, school spirit, and unconditional love to our nursing family. Whether she’s greeting students, making appearances around the College of Nursing & Health Sciences, or simply reminding us to pause and enjoy the moment, Minnie has a special way of making everyone’s day a little brighter.

Join us in wishing Minnie a very happy 10th birthday! 🎂🐶 We hope your day is filled with extra treats, belly rubs, toys, and all the love you deserve.
