CPR Training and Recertification ✅ Our preschool staff maintain CPR certification, First Aid & AED training as well as Ministry Safe training certification to ensure preschoolers are safe and cared for in the event of an accident or medical emergency. Safety is our priority when your most prized possessions are in our care!

Meet the Staff: Mrs. Kellie Sayers - Pre-K4 - Hi, I’m Kellie Sayers and this will be my second year teaching K4 at FMCPS! I’ve been married for 21 years to my husband, Chuck and we have a beautiful daughter, Sammie, in her second year of college. We have two sweet dogs. In my spare time I love to draw, paint, and make things. I can’t wait to meet this year’s Green Geese!

Meet the Staff: Mrs. Mary Ratican - 3 Year Olds Aide - Hi my name is Mrs. Mary! I’m excited to be with the Brown Bears again in K-3 5 days a week. I’ve worked for First Methodist Preschool for several years with varying ages. I absolutely love preschool age; they keep me laughing, learning and on my toes! I’m excited to nurture and watch this class grow and learn this year. I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and co workers. I am training for another bodybuilding competition and I also love to garden. Looking forward to another fun and exciting year!

Meet the Staff: Ms. Rachel Johnson - 3 Day/5 Day 3 Year Olds - Hi! My name is Rachel. I am so excited to be teaching the k3 Goldfish for the second year! Most days you’ll see me with a Diet pepsi. I am a Georgia bulldog all the way through. I hate the color orange but love anything with glitter! Disney is my happy place and I love baking! I can’t wait for another amazing school year.

Meet the Staff: Abby Souther - Infant Teacher - Hi! My name is Abby Southers, and I am so excited to be the Infant Teacher at First Methodist Church Preschool. I am 20 years old and currently working toward earning my degree in Early Childhood Education. I have always had a nurturing and caring personality, so working with young children has always felt very natural and meaningful to me. Outside of the classroom, I am a proud cat mom to my three year old tabby cat, Milo, and my best friend ever is my little sister who also loved going to FMC! Last year was my first year working in the infant room, and I truly loved every moment of it. I am so thankful for the opportunity to spend another year caring for your little ones, and I cannot wait to watch them learn, grow, and develop their own unique personalities!
