Volunteer Opportunities!

Ice Cream Sales Volunteering - while there won't be a specific sign up list, we are always in need of parents to help with ice cream sales on Fridays. You can help any time between 11 and 1pm. A great option is to eat lunch with your child and then assist in sales before or after their lunch time. If this is something you are interested in message or email PTO and we can get you additional details! There will be school staff members there as well to explain the process and assist in sales.

Tomorrow! Come join us for Title I & PTO meeting! 🤍

📚 Dewar families, you’re invited!

Join us Thursday, September 24 at 5:00 PM in the Media Center for our annual Title I Parent & Family Meeting. Learn more about Title I, family involvement, our school improvement plan, and ways you can be involved at Dewar.

Stick around afterward for our PTO Meeting, too! ❤️

We hope to see you there!

You may have noticed we combined our first PTO/Volunteering meeting with the Title I meeting! Both are huge parts of what makes DES special.

You may have heard of Title I before, but if you’re not sure exactly what that means or why it is important to get involved with TI decision making, check out the graphic below!

All info comes from the federal Title I website. We hope to see you this Thursday 9/24 at 5pm in the Dewar Media Center!
