First Spirit Store this Friday!

Spirit Store still has some spots left! We'd love to have you!

Reminder - if you are volunteering with students (ex: Kona Ice days & Spirit Store) you will need to have your background check paperwork completed. This is the same form that you fill out for field trips and needs to be done once a year. You can pick this form up from the office if you didn't get it at open house or print from the school website.

Spirit Store Store Set Up - Thursdays set up we will be unboxing items, setting up tables, pricing etc. If necessary, younger siblings can come if they have something to keep them occupied. Store Shop - Fridays store starts promptly at 7:30 when kids come in. Helping students shop, taking money, packing back up....

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to the 2026-27 school year! Thank you so much for showing interest in volunteering your time to help DES build community, support teachers and enrich student learning this year.

Reminder - if you are volunteering with students (ex: Kona Ice days & Spirit Store) you will need to have your background check paperwork completed. To start you off, here are links to sign up for Spirit Store and McDonald's pickup for Viking of the Month days. We will also be sending out the Kona Ice sign up over the next week or so, once that schedule is finalized. That way you can sign up during your student's grade level time slot.

McDonald's Pick Up - Viking of the Month Pick up McDonald's Happy Meals for Viking of the Month from the McDonald's on Bemiss @ 10am to deliver to the school office for Viking of the Month lunch at 11am. Please keep in mind you will be transporting roughly 50 happy meals for space estimate.
