A little rain couldn’t dampen our spirits at today’s Friends Fur Life Microchip Clinic! Even with the gray skies, we successfully chipped 27 pets, ensuring 27 more furry family members have a permanent way to be reunited with their owners if they ever get lost.

We are so proud of our students for practicing their communication and customer service skills throughout the day. A special congratulations goes out to our graduating senior and club President, Kelsi, who reached a huge milestone by installing her very first microchip!

A massive thank you to our Humane Society partners for your incredible support in making this happen. We’re already counting down the days until our next clinic this fall—see you then! 🐾

Lowndes High School - Friends Fur Life, in partnership with The Humane Society of Valdosta/Lowndes County, is hosting a low-cost Microchip Clinic to help keep our furry friends safe!

📍 Lowndes High School, 1606 Norman Dr
🕐 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

🐶 First pet per family is FREE!
🐱 Just $5 for all other pets

Microchipping is a simple and effective way to ensure lost pets find their way back home. Don’t miss this opportunity to protect your beloved pets! 💖

Today, LHS Friends Fur Life visited the Lowndes County Animal Shelter to spread some St. Patrick’s Day cheer.
As part of our March “You Got Lucky” sponsorship incentive, our club has donated funds to cover the adoption fees for multiple cats and dogs! Our student leaders even got some sweet puppy kisses while dropping off the donation. 🐶💚

Luck was definitely in the air this March! 🌈✨ We are excited to present our “You Got Lucky” adoption packages to our local rescues.

LHS Friends Fur Life—along with local businesses Sweet Strikers and R&S Sports—is covering the adoption fees for 8 lucky cats and 7 lucky dogs. That’s 15 wagging tails and happy purrs heading to their forever homes, on us!

We couldn’t be happier for these lucky pets and their new families. 🐾💚
