Calling all new and returning 6th–12th grade students and parents! Join us on June 4, 2026 at 5:30 PM in VECA's Cafeteria for a 2026-2027 Student Informational Session.

This meeting will provide important updates regarding our new location, transportation and logistics, expectations for the upcoming school year, and more. We look forward to welcoming our families as we prepare for another successful year at VECA!

Thank you to every former student, teacher, staff member, family, and community supporter who came out for the final walkthrough of VECA. Your presence, stories, laughter, and memories filled the halls one last time and reminded us of the incredible impact these walls have saw over the years.

Though the location is changing, the mission of VECA will remain. Thank you for walking the halls with us one final time and celebrating the memories that made this building so special. ❤️🖤💛

Attention Wildcats and guests: We are currently under a weather delay at Bazemore-Hyder Stadium.

Once the all-clear is given, families and guests will be permitted to re-enter the stadium seating areas. If you are already on campus or nearby, please remain safely in your vehicles until further notice. We will provide an update as soon as it is safe to return to the stadium.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as safety remains the foundation of all that we do in Valdosta City Schools.

This event is open to former teachers, students, VECA alumni, friends, and community supporters.

Enjoy sausage dogs, reconnect with old friends, and reminisce.

We would like to proudly recognize VECA Class of 2018 alumnus Mr. Stacey Grady for returning to serve as the keynote speaker for the Class of 2026 Early College Ceremony. As a former VECA scholar, Mr. Grady’s journey continues to inspire the next generation of leaders walking the same halls he once did.

We also celebrate his incredible contribution through the Stacey N. Grady Scholarship, awarding scholarships in the amounts of $1,500, $1,000, and $500 to support our graduates in their post-secondary education journeys.

His commitment to pouring back into VECA scholars is a true example of legacy, leadership, service, and family. Congratulations to our scholarship recipients, and thank you, Mr. Stacey Grady, for continuing to make an impact! Once a VECA scholar, always a VECA scholar!🎓❤️💛

Field Day 2026 is officially in the books! Our scholars competed and created memories through a day of fun-filled activities ☀️🏀🏐

A huge shoutout to Ms. Sams, our juniors, and seniors for planning and facilitating activities for our 6th–10th grade scholars to enjoy. Your leadership, teamwork, and willingness to serve truly helped make the day a success! 👏🏾

We’d also like to thank our amazing alumni and community volunteers for facilitating stations and supporting our scholars throughout the day. Special thanks to Sunset Farm for donating sausages, as well as Mr. Alex Robinson for grilling! 🌭🔥
