The New Media Center is proud to celebrate Ms. Chrystal Young as she begins her next chapter.
Chrystal first joined the NMC in January 2025 as a student assistant while pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, which she earned in Spring 2025. She returned to our team in Fall 2025 as a Graduate Assistant.
During her time with us, Chrystal helped expand our outreach efforts on Instagram and Facebook through engaging short-form content. She also contributed to a video project highlighting our new RODECaster 2 Pro setup in the Audio Editing Suite, helping us showcase the innovative resources available to our campus community. She has also played a part in supporting our services in the equipment circulation area for laptop setup and configuration under the guidance of Kevin Griffin, our Computer Service Tech.
Beyond her many contributions, Chrystal brought enthusiasm, positivity, and joy to the NMC each day.
As she completes her Graduate Assistantship and continues her career with the City of Valdosta as a Junior Accountant, we are excited to see where her talents and ambitions take her next. We are thankful for all she has contributed to the NMC and wish her continued success in all that lies ahead.
๐ Join us in congratulating Chrystal on her accomplishments and wishing her the very best in this exciting new chapter!
