Love, movement, and energy take center stage in “Resonance”! Experience the talent and hard work of VSU’s dance students in a concert exploring how these forces come together in powerful, expressive ways.

Dates: Oct. 15–17, 7 p.m. nightly

Location: Sawyer Theatre, first floor of the Fine Arts Building

Tickets: $17 adults, $16 senior adults, $15 non-VSU students | Free for VSU students

VSU students can reserve free tickets through the ticketing site using their VSU Active Directory login. Bring your student ID to will call at least 15 minutes before showtime to pick up your ticket.
Purchase tickets at the Fine Arts Building box office, Room 1071, from 2–5 p.m. Monday–Friday, or beginning one hour before each performance.

Beginning Spanish language students at Valdosta State University recently had the opportunity to connect classroom learning with a meaningful cultural exchange during a visit from Colombian anthropologist, artist, writer, and researcher Camila Rodríguez-Calderón.

Pops in the Park features entertaining performances by the VSU Department of Music’s Steel Drum Band, Wind Ensemble, Spotlighters, Blazin’ Brigade, and more. Proceeds benefit scholarships for the talented students studying music at VSU.
