Breakfast and lunch will be provided to all students at no cost for the 2025–2026 school year!
By participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) and eliminating the need for meal applications, Lowndes County Schools will reduce administrative and printing costs. Families also benefit from the elimination of completing and submitting meal applications.
Children need healthy meals to learn. Lowndes County Schools offers healthy meals every school day at no charge to your child(ren). Our food service receives support from the U.S. Department of Agriculture through the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs.
Funds may be added to your child’s account for extra items such as chips, water, or à la carte items.
Lowndes County Schools has transitioned its software from My School Bucks to School Cafe. All balances from your student’s My School Bucks account have been transferred to their new School Cafe account.
Please download the School Cafe app and set up an account if you would like to add funds to your student’s account.
We look forward to serving healthy meals to your student this year!

Freshmen and new LHS students, join us for SPARK!
SPARK is an opportunity for incoming students to meet and
interact with other new students while touring the campus
with their new mentor. Our mentors are experienced juniors
and seniors eager to share our Viking values and traditions
with new students.
