Attention VHS Students! Are you interested in international travel while in high school?
Have you ever dreamed of visiting the Mediterranean Coast (Italy, France and Spain)? What about seeing the British Isles (England, Ireland, and Scotland) or walking in the footsteps of some of WWII's most well known events in Eastern Europe?
Valdosta High School’s International Club is hosting an informational travel meeting for students and families who want to learn more about these upcoming international trips planned for 2027–2029.

⏰ Time: 6:00 PM
📍 Location: VHS Cafeteria
Students are invited to attend with a parent or guardian to learn about destinations, trip dates, what’s included, and pricing. This meeting is for information only and is a great opportunity to explore global travel experiences available through VHS. VHS students and Parents are welcome to travel!

Parents and families, please join us for our Annual Title 1 Meeting at VHS! This meeting provides an opportunity to learn more about our Title 1 program. In addition, this is a great opportunity to learn about how you can partner with us to support our scholars. Following the Title 1 meeting, we will take guests on a short tour to the new indoor multipurpose facility. We look forward to kicking off a school year of excellence!! 🏈📚

Congratulations to the Valdosta High School Class of 2026 International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Recipients

Please help us celebrate an incredible accomplishment and the dedication, perseverance, and academic excellence of our newest IB Diploma Recipients. These students have successfully completed the rigorous requirements of the IB Diploma Programme, demonstrating not only academic achievement, but also the curiosity, commitment, and global-mindedness that define an IB learner.

As a special symbol of their accomplishment, each recipient received an IB lapel pin representing their status as an IB Diploma recipient. This small pin carries a big meaning: it represents countless hours of hard work, challenging coursework, reflection, collaboration, and determination.

We are incredibly proud of the VHS Class of 2026 IB Diploma Recipients and all they have accomplished. Your hard work has paid off, and we cannot wait to see where your journey takes you next!

The Valdosta City Schools 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) After School Program provides students with a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where they can receive academic support, explore their interests, and develop skills for success.

The program meets Monday–Thursday from 3:25–6:25 p.m. Students participate in a variety of activities and services designed to support their academic, social, and personal growth.

Program Highlights Include:

*Warm Meals – Students receive a warm meal during the program.
*English Tutoring – Students receive additional support to strengthen their English Language Arts skills.
*Math Tutoring – Students receive targeted assistance with mathematics and academic skill development.
*Enrichment Classes – Students participate in engaging enrichment opportunities such as:
>Dance
>Physical Education
>Personal Development
*Credit Recovery – Students who need to recover high school credits have an opportunity to work toward completing required coursework and earning credits.

Through academic tutoring, enrichment activities, personal development, and credit recovery opportunities, the 21st CCLC After School Program helps students build confidence, strengthen academic skills, discover new interests, and prepare for continued success in school and beyond.
