Valdosta Christian Academy had a wonderful time participating in the Mind, Body, and Spirit Health Fair yesterday!
Hosted by Grace Fellowship Seventh-day Adventist Church at the Amphitheater, the event was a meaningful opportunity to connect with the community and promote health and wellness in every area of life. We’re grateful for the invitation and proud to be part of such an uplifting and educational day!

Yesterday we had an amazing time with the Georgia-Cumberland Academy Varsity Soccer Team! We kicked things off with a meaningful worship session and some time to connect with the players. Then we headed outside for a fun and energetic game of soccer. It was a great mix of fellowship, friendly competition, and lots of laughs. We’re so glad they came out—we loved every minute!

Ag Week was an absolute hit last week! Students had a fantastic time exploring the world of agriculture, diving into topics like goats, chickens, gardening, and horses. Each day brought a new focus, offering students hands-on learning experiences across various aspects of farming and ranching. They discovered how the math skills they’re learning in class are used daily in agriculture, from calculating the space and milk requirements for goats, to developing business plans for an egg farm, to budgeting for garden space. They also measured horse height and analyzed profits from horse sales. Beyond that, students engaged in reading and writing about each topic, while also mastering practical agricultural skills such as egg washing and grading. As a special treat, they even got to take home their own freshly washed and graded farm eggs!

This week, we’re celebrating Georgia Ag Week!

Students had the chance to meet Poppy the goat and discover all there is to know about goats!

But Ag Week isn't the only time we explore agriculture—every week, students dive into the world of farming and food production. In honor of Ag Week, we’re excited to share some pictures from our school garden project!
