🎓✨ Our AVID students had an awesome opportunity touring Albany State University! Students explored the beautiful campus, learned about college life, discovered academic programs, and gained valuable insight into future college and career opportunities.

Experiences like these help our students see that higher education is possible and within reach. We are proud of our students for representing our school so well and asking great questions throughout the visit! 💙💛

Our AVID students had an amazing time at Rollout Family Fun Center! Students enjoyed skating, playing games, laughing with friends, and building positive connections outside the classroom. It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to relax, socialize, and create lasting memories together. We are so proud of the way they represented our school with great attitudes and teamwork throughout the trip! 🛼🎮✨

Our AVID students had an incredible opportunity to tour ABAC College in Tifton, where they explored campus life, learned about academic programs, and gained valuable insights into the college experience! 🎒📚
It was an inspiring day full of discovery and excitement as they saw firsthand what it takes to succeed in higher education and what makes ABAC such a special place for students to thrive. 🌟

🌟 AVID + FBLA + TSA: A Day of Learning & Fun! 🌟
Our 8th-grade AVID had an unforgettable experience as they joined forces with FBLA and TSA for an amazing field trip to the MLK Center and the Atlanta Hawks Game! 🏀✨
At the MLK Center, students had the chance to reflect on the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and gain a deeper understanding of his impact on civil rights and social justice. 🙌🏾🕊️
The day wrapped up with an exciting time at the Atlanta Hawks Game, where our students cheered on the team and enjoyed the thrill of live sports! 🎉
It was a perfect blend of education, empowerment, and excitement! Big thanks to our AVID, FBLA, and TSA teams for making this day possible. 🙏🏾

Our incredible AVID students had the honor of participating in this year's Black History Program, where they shared powerful insights and information on a range of topics, including:
AVID's Impact on academic success and college readiness
Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and their lasting legacy
The significance of Fraternities & Sororities in shaping student leadership and community
It was truly inspiring to see these students proudly represent their research, experiences, and dedication to learning. This event is a reminder of the importance of celebrating history, fostering education, and empowering future leaders! 🌟👩‍🎓👨‍🎓

📣 AVID Students Take on the Jaguars’ “Intern for a Day”! 🐆🏈

Our 7th & 8th grade AVID students had an unforgettable experience attending the Jacksonville Jaguars “Intern for a Day” program! Students learned about a wide range of career opportunities by hearing directly from professionals currently working in those roles, gaining real-world insight into careers connected to sports, business, media, and more. 🙌

To top it all off, students also enjoyed the excitement of an NFL game featuring the Jacksonville Jaguars, making it a day full of learning, inspiration, and fun!
