Hey Friends! My name is Haidi Vu and I am the 2026-2027 Public Relations SMACS Officer! I am a second year at Valdosta State with a major in Chemistry and plan to attend Medical school after graduation! In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, playing pickleball, reading, painting, and anything to do with fitness! Hi everyone! I am Victoria, and I am your SMACS president for the 2026-27 school year! I am currently a senior chemistry major, and after graduating, I plan on pursuing a Ph.D. in materials science and engineering. I am a huge nerd when it comes to science, and I love all things space and science history. I am excited for this school year and to share my love for chemistry!

2026 Outstanding Student Awards
Congratulations to Allayna Henriquez for being recognized with the Outstanding Chemistry Senior Award by the Department of Chemistry and Geosciences.
Allayna’s outstanding academic performance, involvement in departmental activities, SMACS, and research presentations also contributed to her nomination to Outstanding Student of the College of Science at Mathematics at Valdosta State University.
Allayna will graduate Fall 2026 with a BS Chemistry - American Chemical Society certified degree with concentration in Biochemistry.
Allayna received a diploma and $100 award. 🔥
