We kicked off the year with our first VMS student assembly! 🐾💛

Students reviewed important PBIS expectations and safety reminders, but the BEST part was celebrating our Wildcats who earned a Level 3 and/or Level 4 on last spring’s GMAS assessments! 🎉👏

We are so proud of these students and the hard work they put in to achieve at such a high level. What a great way to start the year by celebrating Wildcat success!

📈 GROWTH WORTH CELEBRATING!

Our students are showing us what they CAN do!

The 2025–2026 Georgia Milestones results show continued academic growth across Valdosta City Schools, with encouraging gains in mathematics, science and social studies. Even more encouraging, our five-year trend data shows statistically significant gains in 12 of 13 tested subjects.

Are we where we want to be yet? No. But we are making progress, we are moving in the right direction, and we are incredibly proud of the hard work of our students and staff.

Now we keep going. Together, with the support of our families and community, we will continue building on this momentum.

Each T-shirt purchase includes a Valdosta Middle School wristband! All funds raised will go directly toward PBIS student celebrations and incentives throughout the school year
