Mrs. Uretsky’s and Mrs. Oladokun’s students have been working hard on playing with friends, sharing, taking turns, and learning the Westside Way. We are so proud of these awesome students and all the progress they are making. Just look at those smiles!

Our 5th grade scientists had a SKITTLE fun time exploring weathering, erosion, and deposition!

Students used Skittles to model how Earth’s surface can be broken down by weathering, moved through erosion, and deposited in a new location. Who knew learning about changes to Earth’s surface could be so colorful—and so sweet?!

Mrs. Singletary’s and Mrs. Rose’s kindergarten class learned all about bus safety. What better way to learn about bus safety then make edible buses!

We enjoyed celebrating with all of our guests at today’s PBIS Pep Rally! It was an amazing day at Westside filled with positivity, school spirit, and fun. Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a great event!

Our kindergarteners are learning all about their colors, and we’d love for everyone to join in the fun! Each day will feature a special color, so students and staff are invited to wear the color of the day and help our littlest Vikings learn and remember their colors!
