The Georgia Bridgemen of Lowndes High School have set the standard for dedication, creativity, and musicianship.

Great News!! Due to continuing support from our local community, we are extending the deadline for corporate sponsorship to June 15th.

📣Our monthly Parent/Booster Meeting will be Monday, May 18th at 6:00 PM in the band room.
This is a great opportunity to ask questions, speak with the directors, and stay updated on everything happening before summer break. We’ll also be:
• Taking new marching band signups
• Collecting and handing out more golf cart tickets
• Discussing plans for summer camp
• Sharing important upcoming information
• Providing information for anyone who missed the mandatory chaperone meeting
• Collecting chaperone forms and shirt orders
There’s a lot to cover before we break for summer, so we hope to see everyone there!

Our Lowndes High Georgia Bridgemen – Viking Steel Band had the incredible honor of being invited to perform at the Southernmost Steel Drum Festival in Key West this weekend!
These students did an amazing job representing . After performing their show, they joined a “mass band” performance alongside all participating groups—over 200 pans playing together at once. What an unforgettable experience!
They also had the chance to soak in the culture of Key West with a private tour of the Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum and Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park. From exploring Mallory Square to enjoying the turquoise waters and those famous, magical sunsets—this trip was truly special.
Congratulations to Viking Steel and Dr. Jeff Grant, Director of Percussion at Lowndes High, on such an outstanding accomplishment! 🎶👏

Dr. Grant and the Viking Steel crew have made it to Islamorada where they stopped for dinner at the Islamorada Fish Company. They will spend the day tomorrow checking out cool things like the Hemingway House and Fort Zachary Taylor. Thankful for our awesome bus drivers, chaperones and booster officers for making this happen. More pics to come.
