Summer’s here, and free meals are too! ☀️ VUSD’s Summer Sun Meals program runs June 8 through Aug. 7, and any child under 18 can eat — no cost, no sign-up, no catch. Just show up!

🍳 Breakfast: 8–9 a.m. | 🥗 Lunch: 12–1 p.m.

📍 Eugene Padan Elementary | Vacaville Town Square Library | Vacaville Neighborhood Boys & Girls Club (opens June 15)

Closed June 19 & July 3.

Congratulations to our Knights who had their research paper published on the RFO (Robert Ferguson Observatory)
website! Their hard work has paid off.

According to Mr. Tabor:

“Our Knights just completed real, scientific, research. Led by sophomore Theresa Ten Hoor as the lead author, our class spent months of hard work and study, which resulted in accomplishing our goal of getting a true research paper published with the Robert Ferguson Observatory (RFO.org). Student accomplishments like this are rare, even among college students. As the only Astronomy class in VUSD, we are thrilled to authentically contribute to the field of astronomy.
We are grateful to RFO's George Loyer, John Gregg, Research Committee, and the staff and volunteers at the Observatory for making this incredible opportunity possible for Buckingham's students! Our thanks also goes to our own Principal, Mrs. Working, for her continuous support of our class and innovative projects like this.”

Congratulations to seniors Daniel Galvan and Jack Turner who were recognized at last night’s board meeting for serving as student board representatives this year. Hazel Orr was recognized for her service as well. We appreciate these amazing student leaders!
