Willis Jepson Middle School

The 8th grade Chamber Orchestra and Symphonic Band had the opportunity to represent Willis Jepson Middle School at the Music in the Parks Festival! They performed at Vanden High school and competed against the other participating schools. Symphonic Band earned 1st place and an Excellent Rating in their division. Chamber Orchestra earned 4th place and a Good Rating in their division. After performing, they got to enjoy the day at Six Flags!

We are so excited to share that Jepson’s own Cecilio Tecson was named Solano County’s Classified Employee of the Year! You are amazing, Mr. Cecilio!

The Jepson staff brought some fun to campus last week with a secret underground spirit week! Themes included Monochromatic Monday, Holiday Havoc, Lumberjack Wednesday, Teachers in Black, Silly Socks, and Anything But a Cup.

We had so much fun celebrating Jepson’s Teacher of the Year, Ryan Williams, and VUSD’s Classified of the Year, Cecilio Tecson, at last night’s board meeting. We also officially welcomed Fletcher Riches to the Jaguar family as Jepson’s new Assistant Principal!
