Shout out to our PVAMU Extension Agent, Jennifer Barnett, for representing our Uvalde County 4-H today. She set up a table at Uvalde High School during lunch to answer questions and connect with students about everything 4-H has to offer in our area.

The Uvalde 4-H Shooting Sports and Uvalde 4-H Horse Club are organizing the Wild Game Dinner at Hunter's Roundup this year, our annual club fundraiser. Please come out to support our youth.

Looking for a fun way for your child to learn new skills, make friends, and discover new interests? Enrollment for the El Progreso Memorial Library 4-H Club is almost here!

From animals and gardening to cooking, crafts, leadership, STEM, and community service, 4-H offers hands-on learning experiences that help youth build confidence, develop life skills, and explore their passions.

🌱 Clover Kids (Ages 5-7)
A fun, non-competitive program that introduces young children to teamwork, life skills, and new experiences.

🍀 Traditional 4-H (Ages 8-18)
Youth develop leadership, citizenship, and practical life skills through exciting projects, competitions, fairs, and service opportunities.

🏡 Homeschool families are encouraged to join! 4-H is a wonderful way to enrich your curriculum with project-based learning, social opportunities, leadership development, and hands-on educational experiences.

No experience is required. Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to learn!

Today we mourn the loss of an American icon, a beloved philanthropist and a proud 4-H alumna, Dolly Parton. Her extraordinary life was defined not only by her incredible talent, but by her unwavering generosity, compassion and commitment to helping others.

For generations of young people, Dolly embodied what it means to use your gifts in service of others. From her roots in 4-H to her lifelong investment in literacy, education and community, she showed us that true leadership is grounded in humility, kindness, and purpose. As Dolly once said, "storms make trees take deeper roots." 💚

A proud 4-H alumna, she reminded us that challenges can strengthen us and help us grow. That wisdom will continue to inspire young people and communities for generations to come. We extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and the millions whose lives she touched. Her legacy of hope, generosity, and service will live on. 🍀
