📣 Exciting News from Uvalde CISD! 📣

We are thrilled to introduce our Parent Outreach Program, or POP!, for the 2024-2025 school year! 🎉 POP! is designed to boost parent/caregiver engagement and foster healthy relationships between families and schools across all campuses. We'll also connect you to valuable community resources. 🌟

Over 16 sessions throughout the year, we'll cover critical topics such as Discipline, Discussing Difficult Topics, Social Media Safety, Substance Use & Abuse, and Bullying. These sessions are open to all Uvalde community parents and caregivers, no matter which school your child attends. 🏫

👉 Mark your calendars for our second session, "Escape the V**e," at the Benson Cafeteria (601 Dean St.) Today, Thursday, September 19 at 5:30pm.

This informative session will provide insights into the latest trends in va**ng and THC use, legal issues, signs of use and abuse, and ways to support your child if there's a problem.

Don’t forget about the summer meal bundle pick-up today, June 27.

This initiative is open to ALL children in the Uvalde community, district and non-district. From Thursday, June 27, through August 8, 2024, we will distribute meal bundles every Monday and Thursday from 9AM to 1:30 PM.

Pick-Up Location: Conveniently located at 2401 Garner Field Road, at the SWTJC La Forge Hall Gymnasium

It is important to remember that, due to the holiday, there will be no Summer Meal Distribution on Thursday, July 4. Distribution will resume on Monday, July 8.

Uvalde CISD is thrilled to announce the launch of our new summer meal bundle pick-up program! 🎉 This initiative is open to ALL children in the Uvalde community, both district and non-district. Starting Thursday, June 6, 2024, and running through August 8, 2024, we will be distributing meal bundles every Monday and Thursday from 9AM - 1:30PM.

❗️Please note: If your child/children are already enrolled in a UCISD summer program, they are not eligible to receive meal bundles until after their summer program has ended. This program is for children in the Uvalde community from 1-18 years of age.

In wake of the unthinkable tragedy that occurred at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde over a year ago, Uvalde CISD is moving forward with plans to build a new elementary school from the ground up.
