🏰✨ Bringing the Renaissance Era to Life! 🎨📜

Our students in Mrs. Renfro’s 5th grade classes stepped back in time and created their very own Renaissance-era towns and villages! 🏘️ They used their creativity and historical knowledge to decide what businesses their communities would have, how people would dress, and even create their own rules and laws.

What a fun, hands-on way to explore history while practicing creativity, critical thinking, and decision-making! We are so proud of our young historians! 👏📚

Our Legacy Learners and Leaders put the Engineering Design Process to work as they designed, built, coded, and tested obstacle courses for their robots! 🧠💻 Working together, students used creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills to help their robots navigate tunnels, turns, and tricky challenges! 🎯🤝

🐾❤️💚💙💛 COLOR, COYOTE SPIRIT & FIRE SAFETY! 🚒🔥

What a colorful and exciting day at Legacy Elementary! Our Coyotes showed off their grade level pride during our Legacy Color Rally, filling our campus with school spirit and vibrant colors! ❤️💚💙💛

We also welcomed the Uvalde Fire Department for a special Fire Safety Assembly! 🚒 Our students learned important fire safety tips and the importance of staying safe in an emergency.

A big THANK YOU to the Uvalde Fire Department for taking the time to educate and connect with our students! We are grateful for our community partners who help make learning meaningful beyond the classroom.

Students in Mrs. Salas’ classes have been learning about different parts of speech and put their skills to the test with a little healthy competition! 🎉

They refreshed their memory with fast-paced speed rounds, deciding whether each phrase was literal or figurative. 🧠⚡
