So grateful for the invitations and the opportunity to celebrate such inspiring students, achievements, resilience, and milestones throughout this academic year. Truly an honor for us to be part of these special moments.

On April 17, all 6 EOP students successfully presented their findings, showcasing not only their hard work but their commitment to issues that impact communities and everyday lives.

Minajla Ibrahimi and Faizal Rahman explored the safety of local water supplies
Marian Haji examined how immigrant and refugee youth navigate fear during times of political tension
Juan Rodriguez tested how popular beverages affect tooth enamel
Bonheur Kanyambo created an interactive map highlighting areas in Utica with high levels of outside garbage
Emily Lopez studied the relationship between cell phone use and student sleep patterns

Their dedication, curiosity, and growth this semester did not go unnoticed. This is what EOP excellence looks like.

Our students and staff participated in an EOP Day of Service at , where they painted Easter eggs with local kids! 🎨✨🖌️

EOP students joined the Future Engineers on a trip to NYC! 🗽
They visited the Intrepid museum, had good eats, and made tons of memories! 💫

MVCC EOP was honored to participate in the Pathway to Poly event!

Our students were able to connect with SUNY Poly’s wonderful EOP team, attended a panel about local refugee success stories, and joined in on recognizing the impact of EOP across the community (with SUNY Associate Vice Chancellor Cheryl Hamilton)!

Thank you for an amazing college tour! Transferring to the right college is one of the most important decisions our EOP students make and it was a very informative experience at Cortland! It was also a blast to connect with and enjoy the in-door water park with the students!
