Joyful Noise Clarinet Studio is a studio offering private instruction for individuals who play the clarinet. It is my goal for my students to learn the best techniques for the clarinet so that they can play to the best of their ability. I want them to be able to know the joys of playing and be able to use their talent to impact the world. Psalm 100:1, "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth."

Scales are the life blood of the clarinet. Practicing them is so important because it helps us in every other part of our playing!

today we had a great lesson learning the c major scale! even with the technical difficulties. online lesson are interesting, but definitely a great option right now!

I love using a film canister filled with water to prep my reeds to play instead of my mouth. Just soak them for 30 seconds and they are ready to go! This also helps the reed last longer, because our saliva can break down the reed faster than water.
