🔢✨️👏🏾Our 6th Grade Achievers stepped off the worksheet and onto a life-size number line to practice adding integers! Students were actively engaged, collaborating, and making meaningful mathematical connections as they moved their way through positive and negative numbers.
When students can see it, move it, and explain it, the learning sticks! 💙🖤

🎶Auntie Outside… and headed to HCSD! 💛💙♥️🩶 We’re putting a literacy spin on the Southern Soul favorite “Auntie Outside” by Mike Clark Jr. and calling on our aunties, community members, and reading champions to step inside our schools and help us build stronger readers! 📚

Whether you’re a biological auntie, play auntie, church auntie, neighborhood auntie, or simply someone who believes in our children, we need you! Volunteer to read with our students, share your story, encourage and inspire, and help make reading fun and memorable. Because when the community shows up, our achievers grow.
