FREE Financial Literacy Workshop

Take the next step toward feeling more confident and in control of your finances by joining the Women's Employment & Resource Center for our FREE Financial Literacy Workshop, presented by First Source.

Whether you're looking to create a realistic budget, grow your savings, better manage debt, or simply gain practical money-management skills, this workshop offers helpful tools and real-world strategies in a welcoming, judgment-free environment. No matter where you are on your financial journey, it's never too late to build healthy financial habits and work toward your goals.

New WERCshop alert!

Tricia Sticca & Christine Spiak of Success Circle will be joining us as guest speakers.

👏 Congratulations to our newest mediation trainees! 👏

During the month of June, Empowered Pathways, Inc., in collaboration with New Justice Conflict Resolution Services, Inc., proudly hosted a six-day Basic and Custody/Visitation Mediation Training for staff and volunteer mediators.

This comprehensive training provided participants with an in-depth understanding of the communication skills, active listening, conflict resolution techniques, and thoughtful facilitation required to become effective mediators. Through hands-on learning and meaningful discussion, participants strengthened the skills needed to help individuals and families navigate conflict by fostering respectful conversations and supporting parties as they work toward their own mutually agreeable solutions.

As a Community Dispute Resolution Center (CDRC), we are committed to investing in quality training and the people who make our mission possible. The knowledge and skills gained through this training will help strengthen our ability to serve the communities of Central New York.

Congratulations to everyone who completed the training! Thank you for your commitment to helping others build understanding, resolve conflict, and create positive outcomes through mediation.

Yesterday, The Greater Utica Chamber did a Ribbon Cutting for us to celebrate the dedication of our newly updated computer lab to long-time volunteers, Chuck & Carol Higgins.
