The respiratory virus RSV is on the rise this fall and is now outpacing both flu and COVID cases, which is highly unusual. While symptoms are similar to a cold and usually mild, RSV can cause serious illness for older adults, people with a weakened immune system or other medical conditions, and very young children. The Department encourages people 60 and over to talk to their health care provider about their need for the RSV vaccine. REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES: Minimum of 2 years' experience working with children 18 months until 5 years old. Associates degree in Early Childhood, Child Development (or in progress) or related field is a MUST.

The pandemic has created no shortage of issues for all walks of life and ages. What we have seen from new incoming students who have been effected by the pandemic is social and emotional delays and needs for intervention. We have prided ourselves on being solutions focused and have met with a variety of professionals to create a working plan for how to best serve our students.
